About this work

Occupational health and safety signage. A standard-compliant system of signs, symbols, and pictograms that inform about hazards, prescribe specific behaviors, prohibit dangerous activities, or indicate escape routes and rescue equipment. They are intended to ensure safety in workplaces and public spaces. Five categories are generally identified: warning signs – yellow, prohibition signs – red, mandatory signs – blue, and evacuation signs – green and white information signs.
