Prolegomena
*In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.* This is a quote from the Prologue of the Gospel according to Saint John (John 1:1). I am a visual communication designer, *in flesh and blood* - maybe I'm exaggerating, but it makes me perversely treat these *holy* words with a hint of doubt. It seems to me that in the beginning there was an image, not to say a Sign. When God breathed life into Adam, he probably opened his eyes first, and only then, dazzled by the divine sight, opened his mouth to express his delight at what he saw. If he opened his mouth, the question arises: how did he come to know language? Of course, it could be that the Divine Breath contained a language in its *package*. If so, the question arises, which language?
